Founder’s Note
I’ve been having some interesting discussions this week with my community on LinkedIn about therapy for men. Have we got it right? How well is it suited for men? I was surprised by the response to the poll I shared. My instincts were that many men haven’t experienced therapy. But, to my surprise, many men had, more than who hadn’t. I appreciate my LinkedIn audience isn’t exactly representative, but it was still interesting to me that I had an impression that many men hadn’t been to therapy or had, and had bad experiences. Again, I’m surprised and this just shows my own expectation and judgment of men isn’t always accurate. We really need to be sharing stories about men, because I’m proving my own point… there really is a lot to men that we just don’t know about.
